He shares several of many stories he received of the hardship and difficulties that Pros currently face. They talk through the current club labor expectations not allowing Pros to have a balance between work and personal life, subsequently leading many to face mental health issues, divorce and alcohol abuse. Coach Will and Shane discuss the ability to change this without a labor union would mean the responsibility falls to the clubs to hire more employees in diverse roles and the Pro to use their leverage to ask for better working conditions. They also address what the future of coaching looks like, the role of PGA of America and their current programs, what causes a coach to become stuck and avoid making a change to improve their quality of life and Will’s past experience and ideas to help coaches see better success while feeling more fulfilled in their role.
