Pia Nilsson: Becoming a coach – part 1

Pia is well-known for her role in coaching Annika Sorenstam on her path to super-stardom, Pia’s other notable students include LPGA Tour players Suzann Pettersen, Ai Miyazato, Brittany Lang, Na Yeon Choi and PGA Tour player Kevin Streelman.

In this episode we talk about Pia’s start in golf. How she played growing up in Sweden, played on the LPGA, got burnt out, went home, and ended up coaching ever since.

Going from the women’s coach to the head of both men’s and women’s National teams in a short timespan. Leaving that job and going out on her own. Next episode we’ll talk about the first steps Lynn and Pia took when launching Vision 54.
