I love golf because you can learn soooo much.
It’s not just about hitting a little white ball (although it is fun to work on). It’s about discovering who you are and developing some concepts around performance and training your brain. It’s developing a mindset to perform at your best level no matter your technical skills.
Just like many of you try to help your students understand this for their game you need to understand the optimal mindset for growing your business (which also leads into your personal development)

The 3rd Annual Open Forum: A historic gathering of golf instructors, performance specialists and scientists. This year the Open Forum will be held at the Rosen Plaza directly next door to the Convention Center from 3p to 10:30p.
An official registration page will be up shortly (1/7 or 1/8). The cost to attend will be $60 online and $80 at the door. Price includes a buffet dinner.
The speakers presenting are:
Dr. Young-Hoo Kwon
Dr. Phil Cheetham
Dr. Sasho MacKenzie
There will also be a half dozen small panels of coaches and other performance experts focused on specific topics, rotated between the presentations.
Live instruction will take place from 3 to 5:30 and the Open Forum will run from 6 to 10:30 which will include both the presentations from the PhDs as well as the small panel discussions.
By signing up on this page early I will guarantee you will be notified first when registration is available. Please only RSVP yes if you actually plan to sign up and attend.

I honestly believe this is a huge year for golf instructors and coaches.
We have come so far so quickly over the past 5-10 years. Not only with technology and knowledge of how to teach, but also with the marketing and communication tools. It’s easier than ever to get a website, email list, scheduling, a blog, up and rolling in a short amount of time without shelling out gobs of money.
It’s truly amazing.
But more people are falling behind than ever before.
